Summary, etc. | Cet article décrit l’élaboration et la mise en place d’une recherche action, qui visait à répondre à une demande de la part du personnel enseignant d’un centre pénitentiaire, confronté à des formes de contestation de son action pédagogique et des savoirs enseignés. Il questionne la place de l’école en prison et le rôle de l’enseignant, ainsi que les modalités et les formes de la contestation. L’article décrit ensuite la mise en place et les résultats de deux actions expérimentales visant à mettre au point des outils à destination des enseignants en milieu pénitentiaire. Ces outils ont pour objectif de favoriser une (ré)appropriation du savoir par les élèves détenus, et ainsi réduire la place de la contestation qui peut compromettre l’acquisition de savoirs. |

Summary, etc. | This article describes the elaboration and implementation of action research, which aimed to respond to a request from the teaching staff of a penitentiary centre, who were confronted with forms of contestation of their pedagogical approach to imparting knowledge. It questions the place of the school in the life of the prison and the role of the teacher, as well as the modalities and forms of contestation on behalf of prisoners. The article then describes the implementation and results of two experimental actions aimed at developing tools for teachers in prisons. The aim of these tools is to promote the (re)appropriation of knowledge by detained students, and thus reduce the role of contestation, which can compromise the acquisition of knowledge. |
