| Summary, etc. | Les communautés rurales des Aït Bouguemez ont toujours su mettre en œuvre et maintenir des formes variées de gestion collective d'un certain nombre de territoires et de ressources naturelles. Cependant, dans un contexte de fortes mutations, les modes d'organisation coutumiers sont confrontés aux institutions modernes ainsi qu'aux nouvelles stratégies publiques de développement rural. L'un des défis à relever dans de telles zones serait de réussir un processus de décentralisation permettant de conserver l'efficacité des modes de gestion traditionnels des ressources naturelles, tout en assurant une entente entre les intérêts qui animent les différents pouvoirs en jeu. |

| Summary, etc. | Natural resources management in the Aït Bouguemez valley (High Atlas) : the Moroccan mountain region in search of institutional innovations Rural communities of the Aït Bouguemez have ever known how to implement and to maintain various collective management modalities of a fair number of territories and natural resources. However, in the context of deep changes, community based organizations are confronted with modern institutions as well as with the new rural development public strategies. One of the challenges to pick up in such zones would be to achieve a successful decentralization process enabling to preserve the efficiency of the traditional management practices, while maintaining a good understanding between the interests which drive the various stake holders. |
