| Summary, etc. | Qu’en est-il de la question de l’accompagnement sensuel et sexuel des personnes en situation de handicap en France aujourd’hui ? À travers une série de témoignages de personnes en situation de handicap et de professionnels de l’accompagnement, nous interrogeons la proximité entre l’assistant sexuel et le travailleur du sexe. Cette relation d’accompagnement se définit comme une recherche du commun soucieuse de ne pas enfermer les débats sur la sexualité des personnes en situation de handicap dans un « traitement à part » lié à « leur différence ». Elle renvoie chacun de nous à sa propre solitude dans sa relation avec l’autre et à notre capacité à construire ensemble une humanité de la rencontre. |

| Summary, etc. | What is the current the situation in France regarding sensual and sexual support provided to disabled or handicapped persons ? Based on a series of testimony of handicapped persons and professional supporting them, we questioned the proximity between the assistant sexual and the sex worker. This supportive relationship is defined as a research of what is common to them, in order not to locate the debate around the sexuality of handicapped persons apart from a larger discussion. Such a relationship refers to the loneliness that everyone experiences in the relationship with the other. It also refers to one’s own capacity to build together humanizing encounters. |
