Finally, FLASH radiotherapy shows promising potential to reduce pulmonary toxicity, particularly in the context of reRT. These innovations provide encouraging perspectives to improve the benefit/risk balance in the treatment of recurrences. |

Summary, etc. | La ré-irradiation (reRT) des cancers représente un défi majeur en raison des risques accrus de toxicité pour les patients déjà irradiés. Cet article explore les avancées technologiques en radiothérapie pour optimiser la reRT. La protonthérapie est une approche privilégiée pour les cancers ORL, permettant de réduire les volumes irradiés et de minimiser la toxicité grâce à sa distribution spécifique de dose.
