| Summary, etc. | Dans l’actuel contexte de crise économique, des changements profonds d’organisation territoriale sont envisagés dans de nombreux États, dont l’Espagne, avec des arguments d’efficacité. Notre étude de cas sur la Galice, « nationalité » historique marquée par une forte autonomie, montre que l’idéologie territoriale joue un rôle aussi important que les raisons économiques. Après avoir présenté les collectivités territoriales galiciennes, nous analysons le discours politique à travers la lecture critique d’un corpus d’articles de la presse écrite et d’internet. Cette analyse s’articule autour des échelles territoriales concernées : la commune, la province et l’aire métropolitaine. |

| Summary, etc. | The New Territorial Scale Configuration in Galicia (Spain): Economic Stake or Ideological Alibi?In the current economic crisis, deep changes in the local and regional modes of government are under scrutiny in several countries. Most of them, like Spain, are grounded on an efficiency rationale. Our case study deals with Galicia, a historical “nationality” with a devolved government. We present first the Spanish local and regional maps and the various tiers of government. It shows territorial ideology plays a role as important as economic issues. Then, we carry out an analysis of political discourse through a sample of newspapers and on-line articles. This analysis refers to the three most discussed territorial scales: municipal, provincial and metropolitan. |

| Summary, etc. | En el actual contexto de crisis económica, se han planteado cambios profundos en la organización territorial de numerosos Estados, entre ellos España, apoyándose en argumentos de eficiencia. Nuestro estudio de caso de Galicia, nacionalidad histórica que cuenta con una fuerte autonomía, demuestra que la ideología territorial juega un papel al menos tan importante como el de las razones económicas. Para ello, una vez presentado el marco de las administraciones territoriales gallegas, desarrollamos un análisis del discurso político a través de la lectura de numerosos artículos de prensa escrita e internet. Dicho análisis se articula en torno a las tres escalas territoriales que gozan de mayor presencia: la de los ayuntamientos, la de las diputaciones y la del área metropolitana de Vigo. |
