| Summary, etc. | De nombreux travaux de recherche s’accordent sur le caractère multidimensionnel de la transformation numérique. Cependant, il manque des cadres d’analyse permettant d’articuler clairement cette transformation, au niveau du management, avec les technologies. Dans cet article, nous nous intéressons à l’automatisation robotisée de processus (la RPA), une des technologies les plus déployées actuellement dans les entreprises. Nous proposons un cadre permettant d’observer et d’analyser les effets transformatifs de la RPA, du point de vue des changements relatifs aux mécanismes organisationnels. Prenant appui du cadre proposé, nous mettons en exergue les défis de transformation numérique dans le contexte d’un déploiement à grande échelle de la RPA au sein d’un grand groupe. |

| Summary, etc. | Although many research studies have acknowledged that digital transformation is a multidimensional phenomenon, it still lacks frameworks to articulate clearly how the digital transformation takes place through digital technologies. In this article, we focus on Robotic Process Automation (RPA), one of the most widely deployed digital technologies today within companies. We propose a framework to help organizations analyze transformational effects of RPA at the management level. We illustrate these transformational effects in the context of an international company, which has deployed RPA as a digital technology. |
