520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. Family justice cases needing a social investigation are often those disputed cases in which judges encounter the most difficulties as to their resolution. Taking into consideration what conditions this appraisal and how it is written and integrated during case resolution, this article demonstrates how the social investigation contributes to the restoration of gendered social order, primarily towards working-class families. Specifically, the characterization of disorders and the need to legitimize uncommon decisions reached through the work of normalization (psychological, legal, and moral) shows the importance of socially situated family morality and the erudite mechanisms of its imposition.
