| Summary, etc. | RésuméDepuis les années soixante-dix, le nombre de femmes d’agriculteurs qui occupent un emploi salarié en dehors de l’exploitation familiale ne cesse de croître. Deux tiers des jeunes ménages comprenant un actif agricole comptent aujourd’hui un conjoint actif non agricole. Ce sont principalement des employées. Cette évolution conduit à une recomposition des rapports sociaux de sexe mais aussi à des transformations du fonctionnement domestique et économique des exploitations familiales, qui sont à la fois des familles et des entreprises. L’article se propose d’analyser ces transformations — au plus près des pratiques d’habitat, de travail, de répartition des tâches domestiques — à partir d’une enquête ethnographique de longue durée auprès d’exploitations familiales viticoles de la région délimitée Cognac (Charente). |

| Summary, etc. | Since the 1970s, the number of farmers’ wives who hold a salaried job outside the family holding has grown continuously. Two-thirds of young couples including an agriculturalist now have a working non-agricultural spouse. They are mainly female employees. This evolution has changed gender relations but also the domestic and economic functioning of family farms which are both families and businesses. This article sets out to analyse these transformations — through a close study of homes, work, division of domestic tasks — on the basis of a long-term ethnographic study of vine-growing family farms in the Cognac region (Charente). |
