Summary, etc. This paper presents a review of international literature on learners’ actual e-learning experience(s). 43 research papers have been reviewed. Their findings have been organised according to five themes: a) use of technology; b) organisation of study activity; c) influences of Internet media on pedagogical and social interactions; d) collaboration within e-communities; e) link between online interaction and learning. They reveal the importance of a number of aspects (parameters) which are not very much taken into account in the design of e-learning-based training systems: the degree and quality of actual learner autonomy, the temporal dimension as it affects study activity and interactions, and lastly, the limitations of asynchronous interactions.
