Summary, etc. | In the WISC-V, the interpretation procedure proposed by the publisher emphasizes the cognitive profile analysis (indices, subtests). The objective is to identify the strengths/weaknesses of the child in relation to her/his reference group, and most importantly in relation to her/himself. In this study, the reliability of the scores used in the analysis of the cognitive profile of the WISC-V is evaluated. The results indicate that only the identification of the strengths/weaknesses of the indices on the normative level is appropriate. Indices and subtests analyses on the ipsative level are inappropriate. |
