| Summary, etc. | En partant de la clinique des patients transsexuels MtF (Masculin vers féminin) reçue dans le cadre d’un suivi psychique postopératoire dans un service de chirurgie plastique à l’hôpital, l’auteure, à partir d’une pratique de psychologue clinicienne outillée par la psychanalyse, s’est questionnée sur l’émergence de nouvelles représentations psychiques du féminin chez ces sujets, une fois l’identité féminine inscrite sur le réel du corps par l’intervention chirurgicale. En effet, l’expérimentation corporelle du devenir femme semble mobiliser un changement de positionnement psychique chez ces patientes et reposer dans des termes nouveaux, la problématique du féminin. |

| Summary, etc. | This paper draws on clinical practice with MtF (male to female) transsexual patients within the framework of post-surgical psychological care in the plastic surgery department of a hospital. The author uses her experience as a clinical psychologist and psychoanalyst to examine the development of new mental representations of what it is to be female in these individuals, once female identity has been conferred on the real of their bodies through surgery. Indeed, the bodily experience of becoming a woman triggers changes in the psychological position adopted by these patients and sheds new light on the question of what it is to be female. |
