| Summary, etc. | The active participation of people in situations of exclusion in initial and continuing education allows knowledge to be exchanged between service users, professionals, and students of social work in a framework that is supportive and conducive to collective development. This innovative practice, supported by IRTS Perpignan and its partners in training and in real-world initiatives, is based on ATD Fourth World’s cross-fertilization approach to knowledge and practice. It provides a comprehensive framework for rethinking current practices, as well as rediscovering the meaning and values intrinsic to social work. In this article, the detailed description of this practice, as well as its impact on people, professionals, students, and beyond—on the structures themselves—leads us to reflect on the value of the different forms of knowledge brought together, as well as the societal importance of this cross-fertilization. |

| Summary, etc. | La participation active des personnes en situation d’exclusion dans la formation initiale et continue permet de confronter les connaissances entre les personnes accompagnées, les professionnels et les étudiants du travail social dans un cadre contenant et propice à l’élaboration collective. Cette pratique innovante, portée par l’IRTS de Perpignan et ses partenaires en formation et dans des actions concrètes, se base sur la démarche de croisement des savoirs et des pratiques d’ATD Quart Monde. Elle permet d’accompagner en profondeur un changement de pratiques, ainsi que de retrouver du sens et les valeurs intrinsèques au travail social. La description détaillée de cette pratique, ainsi que de ses effets sur les personnes, les professionnels, les étudiants, et au-delà, sur les structures elles-mêmes, nous amène ici à poser la question de la valeur des différentes connaissances mises en présence ainsi que l’importance sociétale de ce croisement. |
