| Summary, etc. | Dans la plaine littorale de la partie nord du Parc National du Banc d’Arguin (PNBA), est apparue une lagune dénommée Bellaât1 à la suite d’une rupture localisée du cordon littoral et d’une invasion des espaces situés en arrière cordon. Elle montre depuis une permanence pluriannuelle qui n’avait pas été enregistrée jusqu’ici. Dans le but de situer l’avènement de la rupture de la brèche, d’en comprendre les causes mais aussi ses conséquences sur le milieu, plusieurs missions de suivi ont été réalisées par les autorités du PNBA. Cette contribution se propose de restituer les résultats préliminaires de ces travaux. Elle se veut un « signal » à l’endroit des autorités mauritaniennes qui doivent porter un regard précautionneux sur les éventuelles incursions marines dans les zones urbanisées du littoral du pays. |

| Summary, etc. | In the coastal plain of the northern part of the Banc d’Arguin National Park (PNBA), a lagoon called Bellaât has appeared following a localized breach in the coast line and an invasion of the spaces located behind the line. Since then, it shows a multi-year permanence that had not been recorded until now. Several monitoring missions have been carried out by the PNBA authorities in order to locate the occurrence of the breach, to understand its causes and also its consequences on the environment. This contribution proposes to present the preliminary results of these works. It is intended as a “signal” to the Mauritanian authorities, who must take a cautious look at possible marine incursions into the country’s urbanized coastal areas. |
