| Summary, etc. | Voici l’histoire de l’enfance de Jean-Marie Vicaire qu’il a lui-même raconté dans trois livres successifs. Il fut placé durant toute son enfance dans différentes familles, à la fin des années 1950 et durant la décennie suivante à l’époque de la ddass. Les différents récits sont à la fois sobres et émouvants car profondément humains. L’auteur montre comment un enfant placé peut se construire, certes avec douleur et difficulté mais en réussissant une vie d’adulte plutôt comblée en devenant plus tard lui-même grand-père avec émotion. Comme il le dit lui-même : « Dans la vie, tout n’est pas possible mais rien n’est impossible. » |

He was placed throughout his childhood in different families, during the late 50s and the 60s at the time of the ddass. The different stories are both sober and moving because they are profoundly human. The author shows how a placed child can build himself, certainly with pain and difficulty but by succeeding in a rather fulfilled adult life by later becoming himself a grandfather with emotion. As he himself says: « In life, not everything is possible but nothing is impossible. » |
