| Summary, etc. | This article presents the findings of a study on the information and communication behavior of Rifian diaspora activists during the Hirak, a sociopolitical protest movement ignited by the tragic death of a fishmonger in 2016. In addition to online ethnographic observation, nineteen interviews were conducted with Rifian diaspora activists in Europe who maintain Facebook accounts. The analysis of the collected data contributes to the ongoing debate on the mobilization of social media during sociopolitical crises. The results enable the proposition of a comprehensive model of social media usage in crisis situations, identifying several functions such as an arena for the transmission and dissemination of information, a space for collective sense-making, a tool for solidarity, a platform for political debate, and the coordination of diasporic activism. It also highlights the diverse roles of Rifian activists in information dissemination, sense-making, and emotional expression during sociopolitical crises. |

| Summary, etc. | Cet article présente les résultats d’une étude portant sur les pratiques infocommunicationnelles (PIC) des activistes rifains de la diaspora lors du Hirak rifain, mouvement de protestation sociopolitique déclenché après la mort tragique d’un marchand de poisson en 2016. En plus d’une observation ethnographique en ligne, dix-neuf entretiens ont été menés avec des activistes de la diaspora rifaine en Europe disposant de comptes Facebook. L’analyse des données collectées enrichit le débat sur la mobilisation des réseaux socionumériques (RSN) en période de crise sociopolitique. Les résultats permettent de proposer un modèle global de l’usage des RSN en situation de crise, en identifiant plusieurs fonctions de ces RSN comme arène de transmission et de diffusion de l’information, espace de construction du sens collectif, outil de solidarité, lieu de débat politique et coordination de l’activisme diasporique. Il souligne également les multiples rôles des activistes rifains dans la diffusion d’informations, la construction de sens et l’expression émotionnelle lors de crises sociopolitiques. |
