| Summary, etc. | Les approches économiques divergent quant au rôle de la nature dans la production. Ce papier propose, après une lecture d’économistes classiques et post-classiques, une réflexion sur le rôle de la nature dans la production et sur la production soutenable. Une définition de la production soutenable est donnée. La production soutenable prend en compte les relations entre les fonds de la nature et les flux de ressources qui en sont issus. Elle fait systématiquement la différence entre ressources renouvelables et non-renouvelables, et veut protéger les fonds naturels à l’origine des flux de ressources. |

| Summary, etc. | The economic approaches diverge concerning the role of nature toward production. This paper proposes, after a lecture of classical and postclassical economists, a reflection on the role of nature toward production and on sustainable production. A definition of sustainable production is given. Sustainable production takes account of the relations between the funds of nature and the floods of resources, makes a systematic difference between renewable and non-renewable resources and wants to protect the natural funds at the origin of the floods of resources.
