Notre compréhension de l’adulte apprenant évolue avec la recherche sur la réflexivité, l’attitude d’apprenance, la motivation et l’agentivité. Ces thématiques sont elles-mêmes enrichies par des conceptions élargies des espaces d’apprentissage, en particulier dans les lieux de travail, les communautés et par l’expansion des technologies numériques. L’article examine ces différents aspects du débat multidisciplinaire sur l’apprentissage « tout au long de la vie » à travers une conception de l’agentivité humaine limitée, mais réelle. |

Summary, etc. | The study of the various forms of learning and self-directed learning of young people and adults is at the heart of the educational debate of tomorrow. Our understanding of the adult learner is evolving with research on reflexivity, learning readiness, motivation and agency, themselves enriched by expanded conceptions of learning spaces, especially in workplaces, communities and through the expansion of digital technologies. The article examines these different aspects of the multidisciplinary debate on “lifelong” learning through a conception of limited, but real human agency. |
