Summary, etc. | RésuméLa multiplication des prises en charge des enfants handicapés par les divers spécialistes et les revendications des parents pour le respect de leurs rôles et de leurs droits ne sont que quelques-uns des facteurs ayant contribué à l’émergence de la notion de soutien dans le champ de la pédagogie spécialisée. Cet article aborde différentes questions, parmi lesquelles : quels sont les soutiens demandés par les parents qui ont un enfant porteur d’un handicap ? Existe-t-il des soutiens plus spécifiques à certains moments-clés de l’existence ? Comment assurer une coordination des soutiens dispensés aux familles ? Après avoir défini la notion de soutien, l’article s’appuie sur une revue de la littérature scientifique récente pour présenter les divers soutiens formels et informels considérés comme utiles par les parents aux divers moments de leur existence. |

Summary, etc. | The multiplication of the interventions for children with disabilities provided by various professionals, the claims of the parents for the respect of their roles and their rights are only some factors having contributed to the emergence of the concept of support in the field of special education. This article treats different questions, such as: Which kinds of supports do parents of children with disabilities request? Do these supports change during the lifespan of families? How to coordinate these supports? After having defined the concept of supports, the article presents the diverse formal and informal supports considered as useful for the parents during the different stages of family life. |
