| Summary, etc. | À la suite de l’arrivée des opérateurs de plateformes de VTC, qui sont venus bouleverser le secteur du transport particulier de personnes, un conflit intense a éclaté avec les taxis. Deux lois ont été promulguées entre 2014 et 2016 pour tenter de mieux encadrer le marché et réguler la concurrence. Dans un second temps, les relations entre les chauffeurs de VTC et les plateformes se sont à leur tour dégradées. Mais les gouvernements successifs ont opté pour une intervention législative minimale dans ce domaine, notamment à travers le développement de règles de droit non obligatoires comme les chartes. à l’origine des plateformes de VTC, à la pointe de la protection des chauffeurs. |

Two laws were enacted between 2014 and 2016 in an attempt to better regulate the market and competition. However successive governments have opted for minimal legislative intervention in this area, by developing non-mandatory legal regulations such as charters, a decision that the Constitutional Council challenged in 2019. |
