Summary, etc. Poser la question des ressources des parents c’est poser la question de leurs capacités à analyser leur situation ou, plus précisément, poser la question de la manière dont les professionnels s’appuient sur ces capacités et contribuent à les développer. En reprenant des données issues de deux recherches antérieures (l’une portant sur l’évaluation de situations, l’autre sur le travail d’entretien entre parents et professionnels), l’article porte sur la manière dont d’emblée se trouvent – ou non – mobilisées des capacités d’analyse de la situation, pour parvenir ou non à une forme de diagnostic partagé. Il tend à poser la question des marges de manœuvre dont les acteurs disposent ou peuvent développer pour aller au-delà du déjà-là et installer des manières de dire et de faire singulières.

Summary, etc. To ask the question of the resources of the parents is to ask the question of their capacities to analyze their situation. Specifically it is the question of how professionals rely on these capabilities and help to develop them. By taking data from two previous studies (one on assessment, the other on interviews between parents and professionals) the article relates to the way in which the initial capacity or incapacity to analyze is mobilized to arrive at a shared diagnosis. It tends to raise the question of possibilities available to stakeholders to go beyond existing situations and institute new and unusual ways of saying and doing.
