Summary, etc. | Il y a maintenant plus d’une vingtaine d’années, Pourtois et Desmet (1997) invitaient à concevoir l’éducation postmoderne comme une médiation entre les connaissances pédagogiques et l’expérience du praticien. La recherche-intervention dont il est question dans cet article assoit le chercheur comme médiateur des savoirs expérientiels. Parents et professionnels sont mobilisés autour de l’identification de facteurs capacitants pour le développement de la parentalité dans les établissements relevant de la protection de l’enfance. Les interactions famille-institution et les représentations réciproques sont interrogées dans l’optique d’une compréhension mutuelle, premier pas vers la co-éducation. Les résultats font apparaître l’accompagnement, la relation de confiance et le pouvoir d’agir au cœur de la conception d’un environnement capacitant pour la parentalité. |

Summary, etc. | More than 20 years ago, Pourtois and Desmet (1997) invited us to conceive of postmodern education as a mediation between pedagogical knowledge and practitioner’s experience. The intervention-research referred to in this article, takes the researcher as a mediator of experiential knowledge. Parents and professionals are mobilized around the identification of enabling factors for the development of parenthood in child protection institutions. Family-institution interactions and reciprocal representations are questioned in readiness for mutual understanding, the first step towards co-education. Results show accompanying, trust relationship and empowerment at the heart of designing of an enabling environment for parenthood. |
