Summary, etc. | Depuis plus d’un siècle, le travail de socialisation primaire réalisé par les parents est une préoccupation politique et sociale. À partir des années 1990, le terme de parentalité a pris une importance croissante, dans le discours public, signe d’une concentration des craintes et des attentes vis-à-vis du couple parental (Sellenet, 2014). Les parents seraient responsables des principaux problèmes de notre société.Les crèches sont la concrétisation de la première rencontre pour les parents et les enfants avec une institution d’éducation. Quelles formes prennent aujourd’hui les relations parents-professionnels ?Cet article interroge la question du déterminisme parental (Furedi, 2002) dans les pratiques déclarées des professionnels en crèche à travers une recherche exploratoire basée sur un travail d’enquête empirique. Les résultats montrent qu’une minorité de professionnelles tiennent les parents pour responsables des comportements de leur enfant. |

Summary, etc. | For more than a century, the primary socialization carried out by parents has been a political and social concern. From the’90s, the term of parenthood has become increasing important, that the evidence of concentration of fears and expectations towards the parental couple (Sellenet, 2014).Parenting has become an all-purpose explanation for every social ill which supposed to be the consequences of parenting failures.Daycare is the concrete representation of the first meeting for parents and children with an educational institution. What forms do parent-professional relationships take today ?This article questions the parental determinism (Furedi, 2002) in the declared practices of educators in day care through exploratory research based on empirical investigation work. The results show that a minority of professionals hold parents responsible for their child’s behavior. |
