Summary, etc. | En France, le besoin de sécurité est au cœur des besoins identifiés comme fondamentaux chez les enfants concernés par une mesure de protection de l’enfance. Pour autant, ce concept reste complexe et difficile à s’approprier pour les professionnels. Cette étude vise à améliorer la compréhension de cette notion et pour cela elle s’intéresse aux éléments participant à la sécurisation affective de l’enfant placé dans le contexte de sa relation aux professionnels, en prenant appui sur les témoignages des jeunes eux-mêmes. Nous avons cherché à étudier leur point de vue sur la possibilité qu’ils ont eue de se tourner vers un/des professionnel(s) pour trouver du réconfort en cas de détresse et retrouver ainsi un sentiment de sécurité interne. Pour cela, nous nous sommes appuyés sur le manuel de codage de l’Attachement Multiple Model Interview. Les besoins relationnels des jeunes et les difficultés des professionnels à y répondre ont été identifiés. |

Summary, etc. | In France, the need for safety is at the heart of the needs identified as fundamental for children affected by a child protection measure. However, this concept remains complex and difficult for professionals to appropriate. This study aims to improve the understanding of this concept and to do so, it focuses on children’s emotional security in the context of their relationships with professionals, based on the testimonies of the young people themselves. We sought to explore their perceptions of the possibility they had to turn to a professional for comfort in times of distress and thus to regain a sense of internal security. We used the Attachment Multiple Model Interview coding manual as a guide to explore the attachment strategies children use with their caregivers during their placement experience. The relational needs of young people and the difficulties professionals have in meeting them were identified. These results make it possible to identify possible avenues to better accompany the children throughout the placement process. |
