| Summary, etc. | Dans la Sierra Nord de l’État de Puebla au Mexique, l’économie a subi une transformation radicale depuis le tournant néolibéral de la fin des années 1980. D’une économie essentiellement centrée sur la culture du café, les populations dépendent désormais notamment de crédits offerts par les ONG de microfinance pour survivre. L’objectif de cette contribution est d’analyser l’insertion de telles organisations dans un tissu social conformé par des rapports de pouvoir historiquement constitués dans les plantations de café, via des rapports de patronage entre propriétaires de la terre et ouvriers agricoles. Sur la base de l’analyse du rôle joué par le personnel de terrain d’une ONG, le texte démontre comment le fait de travailler pour ces organisations permet à certains acteurs, peu dotés en capital économique, d’expérimenter des formes de mobilité nouvelles. |

| Summary, etc. | In the northern Sierra of the state of Puebla, in Mexico, the economy has undergone a radical transformation since the neoliberal turn of the late 1980s. From an economy essentially centered on coffee production, the populations now depend on credits offered by microfinance NGOs. The objective of this contribution is to analyze the insertion of such organizations in a social network shaped by power relations historically embedded in coffee plantations, through patronclient relationships between landowners and agricultural workers. Based on the analysis of the role played by the field staff of an NGO, the text demonstrates how the fact of working for these organizations enables certain actors with little economic capital to experiment with new forms of mobility. |

De una economía principalmente centrada en el cultivo del café, las poblaciones dependen ahora en parte de créditos ofrecidos por ONG de microfinanzas para sobrevivir. El objetivo del texto es analizar la inserción de tales organizaciones en un tejido social conformado por relaciones de poder históricamente constituidas en las plantaciones de café, a través de relaciones de patronazgo entre propietarios de la tierra y obreros agrícolas. En base al análisis del trabajo del personal de campo de una ONG, el texto busca demostrar cómo el hecho de trabajar para tales organizaciones permite a ciertos actores poco dotados en capital económico experimentar nuevas formas de movilidad. |
