Summary, etc. | Cet article se propose d’analyser les politiques éducatives appliquées en République Démocratique du Congo (RDC) pour constituer un stock du capital humain en phase avec son développement économique. Nous montrons que les politiques éducatives volontaristes appliquées en RDC, à l’époque coloniale et post-coloniale avaient permis la constitution d’un capital humain en phase avec les besoins économiques, sociaux, politiques et culturels du pays. Cependant, les politiques libérales, qui prônent la marchéisation de l’éducation en RDC dès les années 1987, sont contre-productives, elles ne favorisent pas la constitution d’un stock du capital humain dans un souci de développement, elles renforcent au contraire des inégalités existantes entre les enfants issus des classes moyennes et supérieures et les enfants de familles prolétaires. Summary, etc. | This article proposes to analyze the educational policies applied in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) to build up a stock of human capital in line with its economic development. We show that the voluntarist educational policies applied in the DRC during the colonial and post-colonial era had allowed the building of a human capital in line with the economic, social, political and cultural needs of the country.
