| Summary, etc. | Le nombre de Coopératives d’Activité et d’Emploi (CAE) ainsi que la part des créateurs accompagnés ne cessent de croître. Cette croissance s’est accompagnée d’une féminisation marquée des effectifs. L’objet de cet article est d’expliquer dans les grandes lignes pourquoi les CAE constituent une alternative d’insertion professionnelle favorable pour certaines femmes qui se confrontent à la construction genrée de l’espace social. Les CAE proposent un modèle de sécurisation du parcours entrepreneurial qui s’adapte davantage à la construction genrée du monde du travail et à un entrepreneuriat qualifié de « féminin ». Si les femmes se représentent l’entrepreneuriat comme une expérience « risquée », alors l’entrepreneuriat salarié est une alternative permettant le développement d’un « entrepreneur prudent ».JEL Codes : L2, L26. |

| Summary, etc. | The number of the Cooperatives of Activities and Employment (CAE) and the proportion of creators is increasing. This growth has been accompanied by a marked feminization of the workforce. The purpose of this article is to explain why the CAE constitute a favorable alternative for professional integration for certain women who are confronted with the gendered construction of social milieu.The CAE propose a model for securing the entrepreneurial path that is more adapted to the gendered construction of the world of work and to a qualified « female » entrepreneurship. If women see entrepreneurship as a « risky » experience, then wage earning entrepreneurship is an alternative for the development of a « prudent entrepreneur ». |
