| Summary, etc. | RésuméCet article présente une étude visant d’une part à décrire les narrations familiales d’un événement émotionnel dans des familles avec un enfant de 5 ans et, d’autre part, à explorer dans une perspective longitudinale les précurseurs interactifs de ces narrations dans les interactions non verbales lorsque l’enfant avait 18 mois. La population est constituée de 17 familles avec leur enfant premier-né. Les interactions ont été évaluées à 18 mois par observation directe dans la situation du Jeu Trilogique de Lausanne (LTP), selon deux dimensions : la coordination non verbale et la « bienveillance émotionnelle », à savoir le type et l’intensité des émotions exprimées dans l’interaction. À l’âge de 5 ans, les mêmes familles ont participé à une situation standardisée, dans laquelle il leur a été demandé de raconter une histoire sur le thème de la séparation entre parents et enfant pour un week-end. Les narrations ont été retranscrites et analysées à l’aide d’une grille de codage (NES) qui évalue les narrations selon vingt variables réparties sur trois niveaux d’analyse : le contexte interactif, la structure de l’histoire et son contenu. Les résultats montrent tout d’abord qu’il y a d’importantes variations entre familles à 5 ans dans la construction des récits sur les trois niveaux. Ils montrent ensuite (par des analyses de régression) que la bienveillance émotionnelle et la coordination émotionnelle à 18 mois prédisent plusieurs aspects des narrations à 5 ans : notamment, plus les échanges sont coordonnés et marqués par les émotions positives à 18 mois, plus les narrations tendent à contenir des éléments émotionnels (positifs et négatifs) et psychologiques (motivation et intentions des protagonistes de l’histoire). |

| Summary, etc. | Narratives of an emotional event in families with a 5-year-oldThis paper presents a study which aims on the one hand at describing family narratives when the first child is 5 years old, and on the other hand at exploring longitudinally the interactive precursors of these narratives when the child was 18 months old. The sample contains 17 families and their first born child. Family interactions were assessed at 18 months by direct observation in the Lausanne Trilogue Play (LTP) situation, according to two dimensions : non-verbal coordination and emotional benevolence, that is, the type and the intensity of the affects expressed in the interaction. When the first child was 5, the families participated to a standardized situation where they were asked to tell a story about a separation between the child and the parents for the week-end. Narratives were transcribed and analyzed with the NES coding grid, which assesses narratives according to twenty variables shared in three domains of analysis: interactive context, structure of the story, content of the story. Results show first an important variability among families narratives in the three domains at age 5. Regression analyses shows that non-verbal coordination and emotional benevolence at 18 months are both predictors of several aspects of the narratives at age 5: the more the non-verbal interactions are coordinated and marked with positive affects, the more the narratives mention emotional (positive and negative) and psychological elements (motivations and intentions of the characters). |
