Summary, etc. | Alors que la littérature insiste sur le renforcement de la collaboration familles-professionnel-le-s et sur la capacité de ces dernières à négocier et penser les manières d’accueillir et d’éduquer de jeunes enfants, les professionnel-le-s soulignent, sur le terrain, leur difficulté à gérer quotidiennement leur relation avec les familles. Ils/Elles voudraient des solutions « rapides et standardisées », tout en reconnaissant que leur métier est aussi fait d’incertitudes. Cet article expose les résultats d’une recherche exploratoire collaborative menée en Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles (FWB), basée sur des entretiens semi-dirigés dans le prolongement de travaux réalisés dans la région du Centre-Nord de l’Italie. Il fait apparaître des tensions vécues par les professionnel-le-s de la petite enfance dans leur relation avec les familles, en lien avec la notion de risques. |

Summary, etc. | While the literature shows the importance of reinforcing collaboration between families and professionals, to make the latter able to negotiate ways to welcome and educate young children, professionals on the field express difficulties in managing their daily relationship with families. They ask for quick standard’ solutions, knowing at the same time that uncertainty is an important part of their profession. This article wants to better understand these difficulties based on the results of an exploratory collaborative research carried out by semi-directed interviews in the context of the Federation Wallonia-Brussels. The data have been confronted with the ones of a previous research obtained in the Center-North of Italy. The results show some tensions in the way professionals perceive the relationship with families and its connection with the concept of ‘risk’. |
