Summary, etc. | Cette note de synthèse s’intéresse à la façon dont la recherche en éducation aborde la question des relations entre émancipation et formation. Après avoir défini la notion d’émancipation et caractérisé ses usages, une deuxième partie envisage l’évolution de la relation émancipation-formation comme un analyseur possible de mutations touchant à la place faite au sujet en formation, à la dimension politique de la formation, aux rapports entre formation et emploi. La dernière partie propose des perspectives de recherches ouvrant sur le rôle des œuvres ainsi que sur l’évaluation des dynamiques émancipatrices. |

Summary, etc. | This review considers the way in which educational research approaches the relationship between emancipation and adult learning. Firstly, the review proposes a definition of emancipation and describes its uses. Secondly, it considers its evolving relationship as a potential gauge of change to the role assigned to the learner as well as to the political aspect of training and the relationship between training and employment. The last section proposes new research opportunities that give access to the role of “works” as well as to the evaluation of emancipatory dynamics. |
