| Summary, etc. | L’article s’appuie sur une recherche de type qualitatif, menée pendant deux ans (2016-2018), conduite auprès de parents résidant sur le territoire de Padoue et ayant des enfants adolescents appartenant à la dite « deuxième génération de migrants ». Le texte vise à souligner les modalités et les significations de la relation éducative mise en place par les parents, la manière dont ils la conçoivent et la vivent avec leurs enfants et les interactions avec et dans la cité. Une attention particulière sera accordée aux stratégies de médiation interculturelle qui se jouent dans la relation éducative entre les parents et leurs enfants adolescents et au sens que le concept d’intégration intervient dans l’expérience des parents. L’objectif poursuivi est de souligner comment la reconnaissance mutuelle d’une « communauté humaine et éthique » et d’une « condition biographique commune » (qui repose sur le fait d’être des parents ‒ autochtones et non autochtones ‒ d’adolescents) constitue un défi. Autour de ce défi se joue, de fait, la possibilité de promouvoir et/ou de renforcer la formation d’une parentalité interculturelle dans la cité. |

| Summary, etc. | Referring to a two-year research project (2016-2018), of a predominantly qualitative nature, conducted with « second generation » parents residing in the territory of Padua (i.e. teenage children belonging to the so-called « second Generations of immigration » ), the article intends to pay attention to the modalities and meanings through which the parents surveyed intend and manage both the educational relationship with their children and the interactions with and into the city. In particular, it aims to highlight both the « intercultural mediation strategies » of these parents in the educational relationship with their adolescent children and the meanings of integration concept in the experience of such parents. The aim is to highlight how the mutual recognition of a « human and ethical commonality » and of a « common biographical condition » (such as being parents ‒ native and non-native ‒ of teenager children) constitutes the challenge around which one plays the possibility of promoting and/or strengthening the formation of an intercultural parenthood in the city. |
