| Summary, etc. | Co-producing knowledge is a matter of social and epistemic justice: the recognition of subaltern knowledge, which is essential in the struggle for rights. It is also a scientific issue: science is "unfinished" when problems related to exploitation, patriarchy, or ecocide remain invisible. Is the critical reading of the relationship between the non-democratic production of knowledge and unequal relations between the Global North and South—an interpretative framework born out of participatory action research in the 1970s— making a comeback? This special issue highlights the co-production of knowledge in its various directions and practices, raising questions about the types of alliances and circulations that exist at the intersection of social movements, academic spaces, and institutions. |

| Summary, etc. | Co-produire les savoirs relève d’un enjeu de justice sociale et épistémique : la reconnaissance des savoirs des subalternes, indispensable dans la lutte pour les droits. Il relève aussi d’un enjeu scientifique : la science est « non-faite » lorsque des problèmes liés à l’exploitation, le patriarcat ou l’écocide restent invisibles. La lecture critique des rapports entre production non-démocratique des connaissances et rapports inégalitaires Nord-Sud, née dans les recherches-actions participatives des années 1970, est-elle de retour ? Ce numéro donne à voir la co-production des savoirs, dans la variété de ses orientations et pratiques, soulevant des questionnements sur les types d’alliances et de circulation à l’intersection des mouvements sociaux, des espaces universitaires et des institutions. |
