| Summary, etc. | Cet article examine dans quelle mesure le Brexit a engendré une désintégration administrative au sein de la PESC et la PSDC. Au lieu d’analyser les effets à long terme du Brexit sur la politique étrangère de l’UE, cet article se concentre sur les effets administratifs au quotidien du Brexit sur la PESC et la PSCD. L’article montre que l’effet réel du Brexit sur les structures et les ressources formelles de la politique étrangère européenne est moins prononcé qu'on aurait pu s'y attendre étant donné la faible participation du Royaume-Uni à ces structures avant le Brexit. |

| Summary, etc. | This article considers administrative disintegration in the EU’s CFSP and CSDP between the EU and the UK as caused by the Brexit process. In so doing, the article diverges from existing perspectives which consider Brexit’s large-scale effects on the EU’s foreign policy and instead emphasizes its impact on day-to-day administrative decision-making and policy activity. It is argued that the intergovernmental nature of these policies allowed the UK a prior selective participation in both policy areas, which is considered as a form of informal differentiated integration. This then partially mitigates the impact of formal disintegration on the administration of these policy areas. |
