| Summary, etc. | La radicalité de l’interrogation est l’un des chemins que l’on peut s’autoriser à suivre pour relier Viola Klein à Theodor Adorno, ces deux contemporains, qui, même s’ils ne sont pas rencontrés, ont l’une et l’autre posé la question de la constitution des stéréotypes qui expriment et imposent la domination. Si Viola Klein s’est essentiellement centrée sur la féminité, Adorno avec, en particulier, ses études sur la Personnalité autoritaire, a montré comment s’enchevêtrent ces leurres cognitifs et affectifs que sont les préjugés racistes et les stéréotypes de la masculinité et de la féminité. Tous deux les définissent comme des idéologies, Klein renvoyant ainsi à leur historicité, alors qu’Adorno met en évidence leur supra-individualité. Seul un mouvement permanent de critique et de mise à distance permet d’échapper, au moins un moment, aux pièges qu’ils tendent. |

| Summary, etc. | Radical inquiry is one of the potential paths linking Viola Klein with Theodor Adorno; two contemporaries who, even though they never met, both sought to understand how the stereotypes which express and impose domination were constituted. While Viola Klein essentially concentrated on femininity, Adorno — particularly in his study The Authoritarian Personality — demonstrated how the cognitive and affective delusions of racist prejudices and stereotypes of masculinity and femininity are interlinked. Both defined them as ideologies, Klein thereby gesturing towards their historic nature, while Adorno used the term to emphasise their supra-individuality. Only in permanently distancing oneself and adopting a critical stance can we hope momentarily to avoid being caught in their trap. |

| Summary, etc. | La radicalidad de la interrogación es uno de los caminos que podemos autorizarnos a seguir para vincular Viola Klein con Theodor Adorno, estos dos contemporáneos quienes, a pesar de no haberse encontrado, han adoptado una y otro la cuestión de la constitución de los estereotipos que expresan e imponen la dominación. Si Viola Klein se ha centrado principalmente en la feminidad, Adorno, en particular con sus estudios sobre la Personalidad autoritaria, mostró cómo se entrelazan estos señuelos cognitivos y emocionales que son los prejuicios racistas y los estereotipos de la masculinidad y feminidad.
