| 520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
| Summary, etc. |
| 520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
| Summary, etc. | Based on interviews undertaken with television journalists specialising in health issues and on statistical data drawn from the archives of the Institut national de l’audiovisuel [National Audiovisual Institute], this article tackles the question of assigned gender roles within the editorial teams of the major general-interest channels. It examines how the profession has been feminised from above, and the effects of this on journalists’ relationships with their bodies as well as on the process by which health information is produced. It demonstrates in particular that in focusing on well-being — the hot topic of the moment — journalism privileges the bodily concerns of women from better-off social groups. |
| 520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
| Summary, etc. |
