| Summary, etc. | En France, la réflexion sur les langues se réduit trop souvent au constat que des enfants qui ont une maîtrise insuffisante de la langue de scolarisation sont en échec scolaire. L’obstacle principal à l’inclusion des élèves allophones est une formation enseignante, capable de garantir leur insertion réussie pour construire un projet de scolarisation adapté à leurs besoins. L’étude RIESP (CASNAV-Paris 3) cofinancée par le Fonds Social Européen et initiée en 2017, explore les représentations sur le plurilinguisme des enfants et de leurs parents ainsi que des acteurs du système éducatif. |

| Summary, etc. | Thinking about languages in France amount to observing that children who show a poor level of proficiency in the language of schooling (i.e. French) will underperform at school. The main obstacle to the inclusion of allophone students is a lack of proper teachers' training, which could guarantee their successful insertion through education projects tailored to their needs. The RIESP (CASNAV-Paris 3) study, co-funded by the European Social Fund, and initiated in 2017, goes into the representations of plurilinguism by children and parents as well as by specialists involved in the education system. |
