| Summary, etc. | Dans ce travail, les auteurs, psychothérapeutes de l’enfance et de l’adolescence orientés vers la psychanalyse, proposent une réflexion sur leur longue expérience, acquise dans le cadre d’un projet expérimental appelé « Chance », actif depuis 10 ans à Naples et dont la finalité est la récupération éducative et psycho-sociale des adolescents en décrochage scolaire depuis l’école primaire. Dès le début, le projet a été soutenu par une collaboration entre les institutions du Bureau Scolaire Régional, la Municipalité de Naples et l’Université. L’équipe des psychologues, issue de cette dernière, lui a donné une structure de formation complexe, ainsi qu’un support et un accompagnement du travail des instituteurs et des éducateurs engagés dans la relation avec ces jeunes fortement problématiques, souvent en proie à des états psychiques violents. Elle a contribué à la construction d’une « école de la seconde chance », une institution qui peut accueillir, prendre soin de ces jeunes et leur permettre de reprendre des parcours éducatifs et évolutifs bloqués ou brisés. Le modèle de « contenance » de Bion a été leur référence fondamentale pour la constitution d’un système basé sur le travail de groupe : des groupes de discussion de situations de travail dans les différents secteurs du territoire, un groupe plus grand pour les déroulements des journées de séminaire adressées à tous les acteurs engagés, une équipe de coordination entre les institutions. Ce système se proposait d’accueillir et de moduler les fortes émotions présentes sur le terrain et de soutenir la réflexion, la conscience de la dimension émotionnelle, le développement d’une attitude de coopération orientée vers la tâche chez les adultes engagés dans le projet. L’intériorisation progressive du modèle a permis le développement de méthodologies utiles à la réalisation de relations éducatives profitables avec les adolescents engagés. |

| Summary, etc. | In this work the authors, psychoanalytically oriented psychotherapists, offer their observations based on their experience with the Chance project. This experimental project has been running for over ten years in Naples and aims at the psychosocial rehabilitation of adolescents who have dropped out of compulsory education. During this period, the project has been supported by an inter-institutional agreement between the Regional Educational Authority, Naples city council and Naples University. The team of psychologists from the university provided a complex and carefully organised structure for training and supporting the teaching staff in their work with highly problematic and deprived children who are weighed down with violent and explosive emotions. This structure helps to create a “school offering a second chance”, capable of welcoming and containing these children and of re-starting educational and developmental processes that have been blocked or interrupted. The Bionian model of containment represented a fundamental reference point for creating a system of group settings (such as work discussion groups in the various local modules, a large group concerned with dynamics and seminar days meant for all the project staff, and an inter-institutional coordination group); these settings were intended to contain and modulate the strength of emotions and to provide support for the adults involved in the project to help them cope with their difficult task. The gradual internalization of the model has allowed the development of methodologies and settings which are useful for establishing a fruitful educational relationship with the adolescents involved. |
