Au carrefour du droit et de la médecine, cette spécialité fait l’objet de normes déontologiques propres aux médecins, mais également imposées par diverses lois. L’article se propose de rappeler chacune de ces normes, à savoir les notions de dignité, d’intégrité, d’impartialité, d’indépendance, de conscience, de compétence, de rapport avec l’expertisé et de transparence, tout en les développant et les confrontant avec la pratique, parfois bien éloignée des impératifs légaux. |

At the crossroads of law and medicine, this specialty is subject to ethical standards specific to doctors, but also imposed by various laws.
