| Summary, etc. | RésuméEn analysant les photographies de la presse régionale, on s’aperçoit rapidement que, loin d’être indigentes au regard de la photographie de presse quotidienne nationale ou de la presse magazine, ces photographies constituent un genre spécifique en photojournalisme. Deux éléments le caractérisent ; tout d’abord il se réfère à un territoire de vie partagé par une communauté de lecteurs qui attendent d’y retrouver les grands traits d’une « iconographie heureuse » comparable à celle construite par l’album de photos de famille. Et, d’autre part, les correspondants de presse locale, producteurs essentiels de ces photographies de la proximité, occupent dans l’espace médiatique une position singulière d’amateurs intégrés par les entreprises de presse qui garantit la pérennité de ce genre. |

| Summary, etc. | Photographs published in the local newspapers are not of a poorer quality than those of the national press or magazines. They are a kind of photojournalism of its own. Its two distinctive features are: a strong link to the shared territory of the readers’ community who expect their local media to display a “happy picture” similar to family albums’; the status of the local correspondents who produce these community images is dual. Being amateurs as well as members of the newspapers’ team they are permanent features of the local life. |

| Summary, etc. | ResumenAl analizar las fotografías de la prensa regional se observa que constituyen un género específico de fotoperiodismo, cuyo punto de vista no es el de la fotografía de la prensa nacional, ni el de las revistas. Dos elementos caracterizan este género: en primer lugar, se hace referencia a un territorio de vida compartido por una comunidad de lectores, quienes buscan reconocer a grandes rasgos cierta “iconografía de la felicidad”, comparable a la que se construye en un álbum de fotos de familia. En segundo lugar, los corresponsales de prensa local, productores especializados en este tipo de fotografías de proximidad, ocupan dentro del espacio mediático la posición singular de aficionados ya integrados a las empresas de prensa, lo cual garantiza la continuidad del género. |
