| Summary, etc. | Résumé Si l’on s’en tient à l’anatomie, au réel du corps, nous pouvons dire que la vulve est un lieu de passage, un orifice par lequel passe le flux de la vie, le flux de l’Eros. Comme tout orifice, il s’ouvre et il se ferme dans une dynamique pulsionnelle. Les premières pertes, et l’émoi qu’elles suscitent, signent pour la jeune pubère l’avènement de la féminité. À l’autre bout, la question de la féminité se ré- interrogera au moment de la ménopause, quand une femme est confrontée via le réel de son corps à se soutenir symboliquement et non plus réellement du signifiant de la perte. La maternité, par contre, constitue ce temps de clôture partielle et momentanée du corps qui ne perd plus. La fin de cette période s’annonce par la perte des eaux inaugurant d’autres pertes, certaines imaginaires et d’autres symboliques. Comment pourra se dire et s’entendre la douleur qui accompagne toute perte, quels qu’en soient son statut et son origine, dans un contexte actuel où bien souvent elle est anesthésiée ? Nous soutiendrons ce questionnement, ainsi que celui provenant de la différence de places entre maternité et féminité, différences qui parfois s’entrecroisent et parfois s’entrechoquent au risque de s’anéantir. |

| Summary, etc. | If we hold to the anatomical structure, to the real body, we can say that the vulva is a passageway, an orifice through which passes the flow of life, the flow of Eros. Like all orifices, it opens and closes in a dynamic pulsation. The first loss of blood and the emotions that this arouses, signals to the young pubescent the accession of femininity. At the other end, the question of femininity is raised again at the onset of menopause, when a woman is confronted via the reality of her body to hold to the signifier of the loss symbolically and no longer physically. Maternity, on the other hand, consists of a partial and temporary closing of the body, a time of enclosing. The end of this period is announced by the breaking of the waters, which leads to other losses, some imaginary and others symbolic. How can we listen and deal with the pain which accompanies each loss, whatever its status and whatever its origin, in the present context where pain is often anaesthetized ? |
