The deep changes Hispania Citerior went through during the first two centuries of the roman domination cannot be understood without paying attention to the underlying economic development of the province. A fundamental aspect of the process was the progressive increase of the local agricultural, mining and handicraft production, which was stimulated by the development of an incipient provincial market and the gradual incorporation of the region into the Mediterranean commercial networks. Some key features of this phenomenon are analyzed, in particular the involvement of Indigenous as well as Italics. |

| Summary, etc. | L’Hispanie Citérieure, développement économique et intégration durant l’époque républicaine : une approche épigraphique, DHA 35/1, 2009, 115-152. Les profonds changements expérimentés par l’Hispanie Citérieure pendant les deux premiers siècles de la domination romaine ne peuvent pas s’expliquer sans tenir compte de l’évolution économique vécue par la province pendant cette période. Un aspect fondamental de ce processus est le progressif accroissement de la production agricole, minière et artisanale locale, stimulée grâce au développement d’un marché intérieur naissant et à la l’intégration progressive de la Citérieure aux réseaux commerciaux méditerranéens. Dans le présent travail nous allons faire une analyse de quelques éléments clefs de ce phénomène, en soulignant spécialement l’implication des indigènes ainsi que des italiques dans ce processus. |
