| Summary, etc. | Les témoignages épigraphiques de la cité de Vienne nous font connaître une divinité indigène demeurant encore énigmatique à ce jour : Vintius. Vénéré notamment par les notables dès le début du Haut-Empire, il semble s’imposer comme le dieu tutélaire du pagus de Diane situé autour des rives du Rhône et du Fier. Adjonction de l’épithète Augustus ou assimilation à Pollux, les inscriptions nous font découvrir les caractères de Vintius, divinité procédant d’un culte quasi officiel, s’inscrivant pleinement dans la complexité et la richesse du panthéon viennois. |

| Summary, etc. | Enigmatic Vintius, DHA 35/2 – 2009, 119-132 The epigraphic evidence of the city of Vienna makes us know a still enigmatic indigenous deity : Vintius. Worshipped by the city aristocracy as soon as the beginning of the Empire, it looks as if he were the tutelar god of the pagus of Diana, located around the banks of the Rhone and Fier rivers. The adjunction of the epithet Augustus or the assimilation with Pollux let us discover the religious personality of Vintius, object of a quasi public cult, fully included in a rich and complex pantheon. |
