| Summary, etc. | Une petite plaque de bronze du Pergamon Museum propose un point de vue neuf sur l’affrontement entre la dynastie attalide et ses adversaires, principalement galates. La scène représente des archétypes, tel le guerrier galate, dépeint comme un Celte. Des troupes royales figurent aussi, et des éléments « anatoliens ». Celles des Attalides occupent peu de place, mais se distinguent par une posture organisée, signalées de plus par des emblèmes macédoniens, ce qui confirme que pour la monarchie, la référence militaire immuable reste la Macédoine des Argéades. |

| Summary, etc. | “The only galatomachy found in Pergamon” A small bronze plate from the Pergamon Museum offers a new point of view on the confrontation between the Attalid dynasty and its opponents, mostly Galatians. The scene displays archetypes, such as the Galatian warrior, depicted here as a Celt. Royal troops are also present, and some “Anatolian” individuals. The Attalid troops don’t occupy much space, but are remarkable for their organized position as well as the Macedonian emblems they bear, a fact that confirms that for this monarchy, the unchanging military reference remains the Argead Macedonia. |
