Il répond aux inquiétudes d’aucuns quant à la baisse de qualité typographique qu’Unicode entraînerait. Il commente ensuite les imperfections et les incohérences perçues dans l’implantation d’Unicode : inclusion de glyphes, unification han partielle, complexité croissante, introduction de nouveaux caractères de formatage et formes de normalisation. Suit une discussion sur l’importance d Unicode dans les bases de données et de l’avenir potentiel d’Unicode.1 |
