| Summary, etc. | For about twenty years, neologisms such as eco-anxiety, eco-depression, and solastalgia have emerged to describe emotions related to environmental upheavals. This article focuses on eco-anxiety, exploring it through knowledge and care experiences. The concept of eco-anxiety is relatively recent, and its definition is evolving, refined as research progresses. Currently, eco-anxiety is not recognized as a mental illness in international classifications. In the context of anthropogenic threats leading to multiple environmental degradations (climate change, biodiversity loss, pollution, and the depletion of natural resources), eco-anxiety appears to be a healthy reaction. Often accompanied by frustration, anger, and a sense of powerlessness— particularly in response to political inaction—it causes suffering. In order to alleviate these eco-pains and transform eco-anxiety into a lever for change and awareness of environmental issues, the reorientation of collective trajectories is a necessary step that requires a transition towards more sustainable lifestyles, based on values of solidarity and empathy. The eco-therapist, by observing the intimate and profound link between anthropological and ecological wounds, proposes to accompany the eco-anxious persons in order to help them weave links with themselves, with the living, with others and even with something greater than themselves. |

| Summary, etc. | Depuis une vingtaine d'années, des néologismes comme l'éco-anxiété, l'éco-dépression et la solastalgie ont émergé pour décrire les émotions liées aux bouleversements environnementaux. Cet article se concentre sur l'éco-anxiété, en l'explorant à travers les connaissances et les expériences de soin. Le concept d'éco-anxiété est relativement récent et sa définition est en évolution, affinée à mesure que les recherches progressent. Actuellement, l'éco-anxiété n'est pas reconnue comme une maladie mentale dans les classifications internationales. Dans le contexte des menaces anthropogéniques induisant des dégradations environnementales multiples (changement climatique, perte de biodiversité, pollution et la dégradation des ressources naturelles), l'éco-anxiété apparaît comme une saine réaction. Pour les personnes concernées, celle-ci est souvent accompagnée de frustration, de colère et de sentiment d'impuissance, particulièrement face à l'inaction politique ; elle fait souffrir. Afin d'apaiser ces éco-maux et de transformer cette éco-anxiété en un levier de changement, la prise de conscience des enjeux environnementaux et la réorientation les trajectoires collectives est une étape nécessaire qui nécessite une transition vers des modes de vie plus durables, fondés sur des valeurs de solidarité et d'empathie. L'éco-psychologue, en observant le lien intime et profond entre blessures anthropologiques et blessures écologiques, propose d'accompagner la personne éco-anxieuse afin de l'aider à tisser des liens à soi, au vivant, aux autres et même au plus grand que soi. |
