Summary, etc. | Over the past two decades, several approaches have emerged to address the management of difference within organizations: fighting discrimination, promoting diversity, and fostering inclusion. Concurrently, the production of quantitative indicators has gained increasing significance in corporate settings. To legitimize their positions, these three approaches must conform to this trend toward quantification. We draw upon the sociology of quantification to reveal both the evolution of the statistical representation of diversity within a major CAC 40 company and the successive logics of quantification that have emerged since the 2000s. |

Summary, etc. | Au cours des deux dernières décennies, plusieurs approches ont émergé pour appréhender la gestion de la différence en entreprise : lutte contre les discriminations, diversité et inclusion. Parallèlement, la production d’indicateurs quantitatifs a pris une importance croissante dans les entreprises. Pour légitimer leur position, ces trois approches doivent se conformer à cette quantification. Les auteurs mobilisent la sociologie de la quantification pour révéler à la fois l’évolution de leur représentation statistique au sein d’un grand groupe du CAC 40, mais également les logiques de quantification qui se sont succédé depuis les années 2000. |
