Summary, etc. Introduction: Therapeutic patient education (TPE) is central for adolescent patients. It allows to improve adherence to care, which is not optimal because patients are facing many cognitive and social changes. Objective: This study explores the healthcare professionals’ (HPs) interest in educational escape games in TPE, particularly for adolescents transitioning to adult care. Methods: This qualitative study used semi-structured interviews conducted among HPs working in a university hospital who took part in TPE with adolescents. Five topics were discussed: the patient adherence to TPE, consolidation of knowledge, the notion of amusement, well-being, and cooperation between patients. The interviews were audiotaped and analyzed using an inductive approach. Results: Semi-structured interviews were conducted with 9 HPs from different pediatric medical specialties. The educational escape game is an attractive and dynamic tool that could strengthen cooperation between patients. Discussion: By changing the TPE framework, escape games could improve patient motivation, therapeutic adherence, and cooperation, even if logistical challenges persist, necessitating solutions such as distance TPE. Conclusion: The study revealed that the educational escape game is an attractive tool that should be used more often for TPE with adolescent patients. It remains necessary to explore adolescents’ perceptions concerning this tool.
520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc.
