| Summary, etc. | Nous proposons de penser la plage à travers une analyse microgéographique des distances de l’interaction qui organisent et définissent cet espace de pratique de tourisme et de loisir. Il s’agira de s’interroger sur les « dimensions cachées » de ces plages du littoral atlantique durant les pics de fréquentation estivaux. La présentation s’organisera en trois temps avec tout d’abord un développement sur les manières d’aborder la fréquentation des plages en géographie et les choix méthodologiques nécessaires à l’analyse microgéographique. L’organisation spatiale de la plage sera ensuite abordée à travers l’examen des distances séparant les cellules de plageurs. La question des distances de la gêne et du confort viendra clore cette réflexion. |

| Summary, etc. | This presentation is about the beach through a microgeographic analysis of the distances of interaction, which organize and define this tourism and leisure practice area. The study presented deals with the question of the “hidden dimensions” of the french atlantic coast beaches during peaks of summer attendance. The presentation is organized in three stages. First, we develop on the approach of beach attendance in geography and present the methodological choices necessary for the micro-geographical analysis. The spatial organization of the beach will then be approached through the examination of the distances separating the cells of beachgoers. The question of the distances of embarrassment and comfort will close this reflection. |
