However, the gravity of the disaster and the serious consequences of exposure to radioactivity have led to a constructive defiance and the emergence of a citizen counter-expertise concerned with filling the information gaps on the protection of populations and public health by producing data on the levels of contamination of food coming from Fukushima. |

| Summary, etc. | Cet article propose de s’intéresser à la catastrophe de Fukushima Daiichi survenue le vendredi 11 mars 2011 et à la manière dont les autorités japonaises et l’opérateur TEPCO ont contribué, par l’ignorance stratégique d’une part, et l’ignorance technique d’autre part, à la cristallisation de la défiance citoyenne vis-à-vis des données et des informations officielles. La gravité de la catastrophe, et les conséquences lourdes d’une exposition à la radioactivité ont cependant conduit à une défiance constructive avec l’émergence d’une contre-expertise citoyenne soucieuse de combler les carences informationnelles sur la protection des populations et la santé publique par la production de données sur les niveaux de contamination des aliments en provenance de Fukushima. |
