| Summary, etc. | Systemic family therapy is based on the constructivist approach, which enables therapists to focus on goals not contained in the initial conditions (or not observed) but which would emerge within a therapeutic context co-constructed in session. Based on a follow-up study carried out in the systemic family and couple therapy unit (CHS of Savoie, France), we saw ourselves doing therapy through people’s stories we’ve collected in response to our questionnaire about “therapy with us”. Comparing our notes taken during therapy with these narratives in response to the questionnaire and their effect on the therapists, brings out and sheds light on those key moments in the encounter when bifurcations with unpredictable results are played out. Usually, we have no other reading than that of the therapists concerned. Our research findings provide us with a better understanding of how our therapeutic practice helps to maintain a non-predictivity of content, a healthy uncertainty, an emphasis on choosing rather than changing. |

| Summary, etc. | La thérapie familiale systémique prend appui sur l’approche constructiviste afin d’orienter les regards des thérapeutes sur des finalités non contenues dans les conditions de départ (ou non observées), mais qui émergeraient au sein d’un contexte thérapeutique coconstruit en séance. À partir d’une étude follow-up réalisée au sein de l’unité de thérapies familiales et de couples systémiques (CHS de Savoie, France) , nous nous sommes vus faire à travers les récits des personnes en réponse à notre questionnaire sur la thérapie avec nous. La confrontation de nos notes prises lors des thérapies, de ces récits en réponse au questionnaire, de l’effet de ceux-ci sur les thérapeutes, fait émerger et éclaire ces moments clés dans la rencontre où se jouent les bifurcations aux résultats imprédictibles pour lesquelles nous n’avons pas habituellement d’autre lecture que celle des thérapeutes concernés. Les résultats de notre recherche permettent de mieux cerner comment nos modalités thérapeutiques permettent de maintenir une non-prédictivité du contenu, une incertitude de bon aloi, une éthique de choix plutôt que de changement. |
