| Summary, etc. | L’étude de la pratique des films de famille révèle comment les individus sont assignés à des positions de sujet dans l’ordre familial. Les expériences de filmage et de visionnage se fondent sur la réitération de rituels et sur une mise en récit de la vie quotidienne qui permettent d’objectiver les processus de subjectivation à l’œuvre au sein des familles. À travers un cas d’étude, le présent article se propose de montrer comment les films d’amateur sont réalisés dans le but de consolider une histoire familiale à laquelle les sujets peuvent adhérer ou s’opposer, mais qui peut également leur échapper, mettant en jeu leur inconscient. |

| Summary, etc. | The study of the home movie filming shows how individuals become subjects and think about their roles within their groups. The making and the screening of home movies, conceived as domestic rituals, objectify this subjectivation process. Through a study case, this paper is meant to explore how people give several interpretations of the same representation of a family event and it highlights how home movies contribute to a family’s sense of self-awareness. |
